Hi Sabine,

Micah is doing extremely well. She is due for her yearly checkup in August. I have not done a hip x-ray, my vet didn't feel it was necessary at her last appointment. Her eyes check out great, all clear. She was spayed at about 1 1/2 years, and it went well, no problems. Other than those 2 surgeries to remove toys from her intestines, she has had no problems at all. She did have a minor ear infection about a year ago, but we realized it was most likely from Kona chewing her ears when they were playing, so we watch for that now. Kona and Micah still play for hours every day, although I am sad to say that Kona is slowing down. She is developing arthritis in her back hips, but has responded well with medication. Kona is now 8, and she is showing her age a little bit, but having Micah to play with has added years to her life I'm sure.

We are all looking forward to the move to Creston coming up in two weeks. If we do any x-rays, or anything comes up with her yearly checkup, I will let you know. But she has had a very clean bill of health all along.

I know I have said this before, but Micah is an absolute joy.
She has an amazing temperment, is the most gentle dog (next to Kona) that I have ever been around, and is always happy and ready to try to please. I would love to have about 10 of her around!!

I will be sure to send some pictures of our new house and yard once we are settled in at the new house.

Hope all is well. I am looking forward to seeing "D" litter before the end of the year.

She is an absolute delight - I'm thrilled with our new addition. (I actually want to paint black spots on them both so I can take them to work with me and make them the Fire Station mascots!!)

Micah and Kona are best of friends, they run and play sooooo much, they are so tired everyday day.

Also - thank you for sending Micah's papers and her first collar. It was so cute - I don't think it would even fit around a paw now though!!

Hi Sabine,

Just to keep you updated.......Micah is currently growing like a weed!!!! She is now 42 pounds and is as tall as Kona, although she still has that lanky puppy look about her. She has been an absolute joy to have in our family and I can't imagine life without her. Micah and Kona are constantly playing and wrestling and chasing our 2 cats throughout the house...........
