Hi, Sabine,
Yes the olympics were amazing and we were at the game yesterday which was a true life experience!....
We even spent 3 days in whistler for some events. Daisy was great! She stayed at the 4 seasons ... Where they love dogs.. And when we went out we had a wonderful puppy sitter. She loved the snow. ......
It took daisy only a few days to adjust. She now goes to bed at 10 and is up at 6:30 or 7!!! She sleeps in her crate by my side and truly sleeps all night! She has learned to "stay" while she waits for the ok to eat! She can sit, shake a paw and lay down! I am working on getting her to stand from the sit position! I'm having no problems brushing her when I use a bone as a distraction which is great. I think she's pretty smart to get all of this so soon! We go to get her
shots Wednesday.. Which will make life a little easier as I won't feel that she is sooo vulnerable. It certainly has been challenging, but she's doing a great job.... She tends to nip alot although I think that's getting better...and I know it's a puppy thing. She nips at Adelaide alot which is a drag but I'm trying to teach Adelaide to use distractions etc.. To get out of the cycle... Any suggestions?
I thought of calling you a few times in desperate moments.. But things seem to be getting much better now, and with the guests gone Daisy and I can start to really get into a groove. She's healthy, happy, peeing and poohing mostly outside, not going up any stairs... And I'm meeting ALL my neighbours...(there are alot of them around here)..because everyone thinks she's so gorgeous......
Well, take care Sabine and we'll catch up again soon!
Judy:)
